Kaitlyn's Birthday Letter

Dear Kaitlyn,
Wow!  Hard to believe a decade has passed since you first entered this world.  It seems like only yesterday we were telling you Happy Birthday for the first time.

And now...now you are in the double digits, the big 1-0.  A milestone in any child's life.

And you handled this event so gracefully.  You were so excited for this day to come and full of eagerness and joy througout.  You spent the day celebrating and enjoyed every single moment of it.

You are one of the most creative people we know.  Always crafting, drawing, or writing.  Your world is one of imagination and possibilities.  

You are never one to hesitate doing what's right and making sure others do too.  You are not a rule breaker, or even a rule bender, but know that there's always time for good fun.

You've matured as best as you can, handling all the changes that come with it, and knowing that you are not alone.  You've listened to our talks, weren't afraid to ask questions, and have taken it all in.

You have a heart after God and are always a willing student, learning more and more about Him. You take in His word and are proving to be a great disciple.

We can't wait to see what's to come for you.  This next year will be big and full of milestones.  

You are brave.  You are a leader.  You are mature, but yet a little girl at heart.

And we absolutely love everything about you.  Never change and be your own person.
